These past couple of months have been a whirlwind of not having a digicam of my own, to getting one for my 25th bday from my mother, to being sick constantly, and getting my tonsils out last Friday. So, whilst laying around in my jammies for the past week in pain, home from work and attempting to eat food that isn't classified as "mush", I thought I'd finally toss up the fangs I made at work for Halloween for y'all. I'm a lab tech and make retainers for a living, so it was fun to play around with all the work stuff and make something fun instead of the same old same old. ^^

We always make these fancy retainers for the doctors, and each have our own "perfect color" retainer that we would choose for ourselves. This is black with silver glitter and stardust, a lovely little iridescent shimmer.

My friend and co-worker, S, helped me out with the shaping of the fangs. She took a mold of my mouth and glooped the tooth-colored acrylic around my canines, so the fangs would form a cap over my teeth.
