craftgrrl | "Dressmaker" From Hell (Reply)

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting, mostly because i'm shy. :)

I have a question (with picture support) about the Dressmaker. (well i have the dressmaker II..but same difference). I don't know much about sewing with machines but i know this isn't supposed to happen. When i start so sew the stitch looks fine from the top but the second i flip it over, it's chaos. Tangles, knots, you name it. The needle sticks a little bit in the process but i don't think that's it? There's no friggin manual with it and i think my problem may be with the bobbin......since i have NO idea what to do with it. I don't know what i'm supposed to do with the bobbin.. where do i pull the thread through?

So any help whatsoever is greatly appreciated and i will try all of your advice.. You guys are the kings and queens of crafty madness and i want to learn and maybe get up to a worthy crafty level but i'm being held back ahaha
