Belated Christmas Post
Feb. 9th, 2008 03:38 pmThis year for Christmas i decided to make everyone's presents. Of course, I didn't have time to make everyone's presents until literally four days before Christmas. I will never do that again.
ANYHOODLE--some of them came out really cool and because I couldn't get time off for my grandmother's family Christmas party, I had to wait until my mother could send me pictures of everyone with their gifts. They're under the cut. I'm especially proud of the last one.
These first three are really basic cowls, the each took about two hours and I basically did them from this pattern, only seriously modified.

aaand, that's my aunt Dana who's the only one who's wearing it right. (also, i bought Alan that book--very funny I highly recommend it)
This little hat every person in this kids family ended up trying it on. They're all Clemson fans so i figured it would be a big hit. I basically just made up the pattern, it ended up really cute I think.

see? everybody.
This hat I also made up a pattern for, but my inspiration came from this knitted fraggle hat, which is just awesome!

I swear, that child, every picture that's ever taken of her she looks drunk. Or, 'scuse me, slightly tipsy.
And this one is my absolute favorite. The basic patter comes from the crocheted hat in Son of Stitch 'n Bitch and I wanted it to look like boober fraggle because that's the child's newest obsession.

I swear that kid's so cute. Funny story--that hat's the same size as the pattern. Five-year-old has a gargantuan head.
Thanks for suffering through so many pictures!
