Three FO's!
Feb. 14th, 2008 09:31 amI haven't posted here in ages... but I'm finally back to being crafty so I thought I would share! I've been playing with yarn and paper and I have three good examples to show you...
The first is actually from way back in November, I made this card for my boyfriend which he decided was absolutely adorable and now lives on his desk. He totally fell in love with the monster, it's basic, but adorable.

The next card was for my boyfriends best friend. I didn't know what to put on the card and I complained to the boy that I needed ideas and he said "Make a yeti playing guitar" ...so I did. I don't usually add non-paper to my cards, but I did this time. There's a wee bit of foil and thread for guitar strings. Jame got the card a few days ago and lurves it! :D

And last but not least, remember the card I made my boyfriend for his birthday? Well I couldn't think of anything to do for Valentines Day for him... and we're the sort that prefers handmade things with a meaning instead of candy and a card from the store. I was up way past my bedtime one night when it came to me.... I could make him a monster. And so I did. My boyfriend has since named him Chomp, his MO is bouncing around on his beanie-butt and going OM NOM NOM NOM on anything that gets too close to his mouth. Beads for beans, polyfill for stuffing, theres blue cloth lining him so the polyfill doesn't come out and buttons for eyes. Sadly I didn't take a picture of his butt, which has a lil heart crochet'd into it. :)

Sometime this weekend I will take pictures of the final FO for the moment, a really pretty blue blanket, yay!
