Denise Interchangable Knitting Needles?
Mar. 14th, 2008 08:13 pmCurrently, the only knitting needles I own are my trusty straight metal 10s and my ghetto homemade DPNs. I've been thinking about expanding my collection, and that's how I ran across the Denise Interchangable Knitting Needle Set. Do any of you crafty grrls have experience with Denise needles? I love the idea of having all those different size needles and different length cords, but I'm having a few qualms about dropping $50 on them when I'm jobless and neither Christmas nor my birthday are in the near future.
And because text-only posts are boring, here's a knitted bag I just finished.

(Please ignore my lack of fashion sense; I took these pictures at around 1 AM.)
The pattern is "Birdie Bag" from MagKnits. I made the slightest of modifications to the dimensions and the handle... and the lace pattern, when I screwed it up and was too lazy to redo it. :P

It's lined with a rainbow felt hat I got at a Bat Mitzvah ages ago. After finishing, I realized that it's reversible and that the rainbow side is actually really cute... but I try to convince myself that I like the knitted side better. Since, y'know, I made it and all.
