Cat & Coffee ART Wristlet
Mar. 16th, 2008 09:12 pmOh, I'm so happy with how these finally turned out!. I originally had the idea back in September and after many months, the final product is complete. This is one of my new "Art wristlets".
Just a quick celebration. Don't you love that feeling when you have an idea in your head and it turns out EXACTLY how you imagined?. Also super happy to finally have a reason to pull out the sewing machine.. This is my first piece where everything I love is combined, and I think it shows!. It's going to be hard to let go of, but I hope whoever receives it will value the fact it's the very first in this design.
It features one of my quirky illustrations on professionally printed fabric (from a third party company), bordered by handsewn Japanese toho beads and Kayann Works own signature metal designer tag for authenticity. This is no iron on, that's for sure!. :)
What do you guys think!?. Crossing fingers I added a unique twist.
Hooray!! Time to go celebrate.
