craftgrrlThe last time I was in North Beach, I saw the most amazingly beautiful coat... which happened to cost a couple hundred dollars (no thank you!). This is my attempt to recreate it using Cyan houndstooth instead of Orange Plaid. I heavily modified an old pattern from my grandma and used a giant remnant from the remnant bin and vintage gold buttons, also from my grandma. Overall this probably cost about $6.
The buttons are asymmetrical. Oh, and there are pockets, which are a first for me!
