Amigurumi Bunny!
Mar. 23rd, 2008 03:28 pmI don't celebrate Easter, as I don't care much for chocolates or Jesus. But my mom was having our small family over to her house for Good Friday fish and chips. I knew I would be leaving with some sort of goodies. I decided to crochet a little bunny for her. There was no pattern, I just thought of the basic shapes I was going to need, and then made them, eyeballing to size. I'm quite proud of how it turned out since I've only been crocheting since February.
Crocheted on an H/8 hook with 100% Icelandic wool, which was scored for 75 cents a few weeks ago at a thrift store. I wanted to photograph him frolicking in nice spring green grass, but the snow storm prevented that, so I improvised. A green throw pillow and my heinously beautiful kitchen chair provide fake nature for a fake animal. It works well.

Hello!

First I will hop this way.

And then I will hop that way.

There is a great book called Everyone Poops, which begins, "An elephant makes a big poop. A mouse makes a tiny poop. A one-hump camel makes a one-hump poop, And a two-hump camel makes a two-hump poop. Only kidding!" No kidding here, this bunny makes chocolate poop.
