Apr. 1st, 2008 09:23 pmMy first load of rocks came out of the tumbler *squee*
So, here's what I've been up to :P

I'd already had this one made up, but waiting for a clasp. I am going to see if I can figure out a way to attach the above Lapis without is looking wonky. The colors look great together.

I think this is a piece of Jasper, but I'm not sure (all the rocks were in a variety pack with a little of everything in it to be tumbled). The chain is just something I had laying around, I'll make a more permenant home for this stone in the near future :)

This is a really cool pale green rock. I have no clue as to the rock type, but there's many layers in it. I made the pendant and necklace reversible for the indecisive like myself :) I'm just learning this wrapping technique, I learned from a tutorial showing how to wire wrap coins :P

And this one is a recon of a belt. The large rings came off of my husband's manager's belt that broke at work one day. My wonderful husband stopped her from throwing it away and brought the rings home for me to use. It's taken me 4 months to find inspiration for it, but I love it. I wore it today, and it's the perfect thing for my nervous hands to play with.

And, I haven't forgotten about the chainmaille tutorial, but I haven't been able to find the rings nor some of my tools since our move. I'll keep looking tho!!!!
