drawing class project

i guess this is more of a drawing project, but i can also make it into a collage. so here's what i'm working on:

as you can see it's in colored pencil.
Anyway, my problem is that I get bored working on the same thing for so long.. but the assignment is pretty wide open. i just have to draw something that fills up an 18" x 24" sheet. But I can draw stuff, cut it up, and make it into a collage. Also, I can use colored pencil, water color, pastels, and oil pastels. half of the entire project is supposed to be drawn from real life.. the rest can be drawn from photos or whatever.
oh and btw - if you can see the pencil lines on the paper it's because my original idea was to put different things inside the boxes.. like that dinosaur..
my second idea was to just cut those butterflies out and create some kind of collage..
please help with some ideas or at least get me motivated! =] lol
