Interfacing
Apr. 12th, 2008 02:46 pmHey guys, summer's coming and that means I'm gonna have a bunch of free time and want to make things again. Last summer I discovered that I like creating things, even if they don't look so great and experimented with making tote bags and such. like this one
. Anyway, this summer I'm gonna take it to the next step and go beyond just a sack with handles, and I wonder about interfacing. Do I just...stick it in there? Do I have to sew it onto the fabric or can I just slide it between the outside and in the inside fabric pieces?
And do you have any other tips for making handbags/purses? I always fail miserably at following the directions of a tutorial, and I like to learn better by just making the mistake then doing it right the next time. But if I can learn from anybody else's mistakes, that'd be great too. Thanks guys!
