Are there such things as Blank decoratible full size quilts?

If you wanted to customize a full size quilt, say with iron ons and appliques, but didn't want to sew it all from hand, could you find blankt quilts at craft shops or quilt stores or something? Or maybe you could just look real hard for a nice plainish one in discount shops and decorate very plain ones you found, or decorate the all white part on the back?
