rosaries and recycling
Apr. 29th, 2008 08:16 pmHello ladies! Longtime craftgrrl fan, first time poster.
I'm interested in making a rosary. My dad was Catholic (I was until I was about two, then I was taken to a Protestant church) and in his memory I'd like to make a rosary and then actually learn how to pray it.
I've never done any "elaborate" beading (by elaborate I mean anything more than stringing beads together) and I was wondering if any of you spectacular beaders could give me any advice on spacing, materials, etc.
THANKS!
And so this isn't text only: my mom's elementary school has been focusing on recycling this term, so I made some popcan coasters for her to show the kids. Not too fancy, but kind of cool in their own way.

and of course, they hold a soda can perfectly...
