Facing for a V-neck tee shirt

I want to make facing for the V-neck shirt I'm constructing, but I'm really confused how to go about it. I drew a really quick picture in paint, for reference. Under the cut!


These are my pieces. I'm confused, mostly about the back piece. Notice how the shoulder slopes down really quick, I'm not sure whether to make the facing go all the way across the top, tracing the short slope?

I want to make both facings the same size, I'm really confused, I never did this for a v-neck.

Help?
