Here's a journal spread I did last night. I feel like I use the same colors, and that my journal spreads always look the same, so I tried to use colors for the background that I normally wouldn't use--I went with pink and blue. It's not as obvious once I kept adding to it. The fish stamp on the bottom left side is a new stamp that I carved the other day. The image was actually out of an ethnic clip art book. I love how simple images can be so interesting. The image of the baby heads is a photograph of a headstone that I took some years ago in a cemetery. It was a headstone for quite a few babies from the same family. I remember thinking how sad and eerie it was, but beautiful at the same time.
