Sequins

Hi!
 So, i have some of those strips of sequins (its sequins all sewn together in a long strip) and I need to sew them onto the top of a dress. But making like, flowers, and doing a few lines of sequins around the neck line. i was just wondering if there was anyway of sewing these on my machine without it looking like crap. Ive had to sew these buggers onto something by hand once (i sewed like green sequins onto a pretty black braided trim, then i had to sew green beaded trim onto that to make the trim for my prom dress. had to have about 5.5 yards of it. whee. -_-) Ive googled it, and could only find stuff on how to sew on individual sequins, and i am way to lazy for that. lol
 so, any help would be AWESOME!
