I've finally borrowed my boyfriend's camera so I could snap some pics and post them for all to see!

Here I have the knitted afghan I completed a month or two ago. I kind of made up the pattern (yarn over, knit two together, purl the wrong side) this is most apparent on the edges where I both knitted a border and crocheted a yellow border. It was more of an experiment than an attempt at perfection and I really needed something for the couch.

This is a nice close up shot of the borders. When I started the blanket I thought I could just knit a nice border on. I mostly crochet, so I'm not used to curling edges, hah. So once I realized that my blanket needed something to fix it's edges I put the crocheted border on. The yellow looks really nice with the ivory of the main part of the blanket.

This is my practice quilt I was working on. I've decided that I'm going to complete it and give it to my buddy Cat's daughter. I'm pretty sure they'll both enjoy the little bug details. The caterpillars make some interesting diamond patterns in the quilt when you back away and look at the whole thing. I'll have to post a pic when it's finished.

This is the flannel fabric for my winter quilt that I'm also working on. There's no rush on the bug quilt and it's still technically my practice quilt, so I feel comfortable putting the bug one on hold while I work on my winter quilt some. Besides, the kid has a lot more years of girlishness left in her to be able to enjoy a bug quilt for her birthday.

There are a couple more things I'm working on, such as a roll-up thing for my knitting needles and some longer straps for my purse, but I haven't even started to really think about those just yet. I've been knitting a bag for my knitting needles and crochet hooks with pockets for gadgets like stitch counters, needle sizer, stitch markers and so on, but I haven't decided if I'd rather do the roll-up thing yet.
