Okay, so I'm sure we've all seen the tutorials of using contact paper to make easy to do/remove wall art lately. If not, the intractable is here. I know threadbanger did a decor it yourself video on it as well.

I've been wanting to do this for months, but I'd either forget about it or couldn't find contact paper. I seriously had the biggest problem with it. Michael's finally had it, if anyone else is wondering.

ANYWAY. Then I was trying to think of what I wanted to do first. The swirl is okay, but not my cup of tea really. And bamboo/flowers/trees seem to be what everyone has. Plus, I wanted to add a little flavor to it myself.

After seeing this on craftster, I remembered how much I love octopuses [octopi? I don't know haha].

I used her octopus for a guide & freehanded my own for empty space one in my room. I LOVE it!

That's how it looks as a whole on the wall on which it sets.

Excuse the flash, but that's a little closer of a view.

And for those of you wondering how in/visible the seams actually are, there's a closer shot. I can't see any of the seams from where I'm sitting, & I barely see them when I'm, like, right on top of it.
