Lace Question

craftgrrlThis is going to soud really dumb, but I just sewed a bow and I want to put lace on the ends. I don't want to sew it on because I don't want to sew the back and front together.. How is the best way to apply lace? Also if I were to sew it is there a way to do it? I'm so lost.
