I just joined, after weeks of copious lurking~ I love this community! So, a little intro, and a couple of questions... I'm Anna, 26, from Bloomington, IN... two cats and a dog, moving out in 2 weeks and selling my house to travel for a year (gulpus maximus)... I love craftyness and if I didn't have to make a living, I'd just make things for people all day long! Aaahhhhh~
I've recently learned to use a sewing machine and have made "quilts" for my brother and sister. I love to crochet. I don't seem to enjoy knitting, but I really want to, so I'll be trying it again soon. I'm newly obsessed with marble magnets and have made 40 *super cuties*. I make dreamcatchers, magic wands, collage, decoupage, altered books, I'm a postcard fairy... Um, what else? I really want to make cloth dolls. My mom used to make the most amazing dolls~ she made me a Little Nemo doll when I was two and he's excellent! I just pretty much want to learn everything, as in, I get itchy every time I go into a craft store.

And now for questions~ I want to crochet some mittens and I'm looking for a simple pattern. I'm really bad at reading patterns, so simple. is. good. Also, I have all the roses (dried) from my sister's wedding and I'm thinking that you can make beads from them. Like by crushing the petals and ??? Does anyone know how to do this? I love the idea of making a bracelet for my sister!
