Curious question

I bought this, what I'm pretty sure, is an acrylic painting at a yard sale a few weekends ago. Now I've been thinking about framing it, but it's painted on those canvasses wrapped around the wood frame. Finding a frame for it seems to be pretty hard, and I think that it would look better without a frame, when I give it more thought. With that being said, I want to hang it in the bathroom since I have a fish theme in there and the colours are perfect for it. Do I have to protect it in anyway because of the heat and steam of when I have a shower? I don't want to ruin it because it's a beautiful painting.  Has anyone had any experience with it?
