Britpop bag and more!
Aug. 11th, 2008 10:24 amA birthday present for a friend. Guess her favourite band!

Pocket along the front.

This bag is huge! Her boyfriend commissioned it for her, she has a large sketchbook and often carries a lot of things around.

There's a small pocket inside. There's a zippered pocket on the front liner, but the picture came out all blurry. The zipper is blue for some contrast.

The strap is adjustable, it's a tie we found at an English restaurant. I discovered Twiglets, which are ridiculously addictive.
Fold-up shopping bags! I printed this pattern off some months ago, but didn't start making them until recently. I've made quite a few of them by now, they're easy and fun.
I love this gingham!

Laying flat.

You turn it over, fold the sides, then the top and bottom into the middle... (apologies for the crap photo). Note the kitty tail. She was very helpful.

Then you fold the wallet. It closes with a bit of hook-and-loop tape.

I don't have a pic of this one open, for some reason, but I liked these colours together.
A little pouch I made for my Lunch Money cards.

A bag I was commissioned to make, she wanted a huge backpack for Folk Fest.

I drew the flowery thing freehand.

Two pockets inside, one zippered, one open.

Here she is modelling it as a shoulder bag.

And here it is as a backpack.
I've been making a lot more, but I'm not posting it all!
Thanks for looking :)
