This is the t-shirt quilt that I haven't shared yet, I made this maybe about a year ago for my boyfriend, you can see in the picture that he wanted me to alternate the black t-shirts with the colored t-shirts to create a checker board quilt. He even placed all the squares where he wanted them. :)

Back of the above quilt. My boyfriend really likes star wars. :)

This next quilt is my Halloween quilt that I made over the fourth of July weekend, only because I finally had enough materials, and I had enough time. I used bits of old fabric, t-shirt, sweatshirt, and even a thermal is in there. :) Oh I think a bit of a vest is in there too, it was very "scrap" quilt like to me. :)

This is my newest quilt, the Star Wars Quilt, as I'm calling it. I know I'm so original :) made with 14 licensed Star Wars shirts that averaged 4.64 each, over 150 4x4 squares, and a vintage star wars sheet on the back, this quilt, according to some people's calculations would be near a 450-500 dollar quilt! Good think I made it for my boyfriend... I dont' think I could sell it for that much. Anyways, the quilt consists of the shirts and squares on the front, there are iron on pictures of either him playing with lightsabers or showing off his Star Wars chest piece, or they're of us at the Star Wars Science Meets Imagination (at COSI) exhibit - opening night! and it was for my 21st birthday (on the actual day!!!) Or just a random picture of something Star Wars. :) A lot of love and labor went into this, and I'm glad that it's done, other than the binding.

Blurry picture - the best one we took - of mostly the whole thing, it's a decently sized quilt meant for a double bed, which he has.

The next pictures are just close ups of the squares and t-shirts

I remember crying over the iron-ons and how they weren't really peeling nicely, some did, but a lot of them didn't. Then Corey, the receiver, was like, "I like how the pictures [iron-ons] look old, vintage, it's a neat effect" *sigh lol.

and the gymnastics costume. yay Hello Kitty! It's red white and blue because I'm rooting for the USA, which is where I'm from. :)

oh and Hello Kitty is tan because she is tropical Hello Kitty that I made from Build a Bear. :) She roars.
