Okay, first a bit of background... My friend's daughter desperately wants to learn stained glass. Part one of the dilemma is that they have no money to take classes. So I volunteered to teach them. She is twelve years old and incredibly talented with all arts & crafts so I know there will be no problem teaching her other than, I myslef, don't know how. Oh, I know the basic principles... I have books, magazines and tons of other resources and I've seen it done dozens of times by others. And the really good thing is that I'm the type who likes to learn on my feet and teach myself. Any advice for starting out or teaching others would be greatly appreciated...

Next part of the dilemma is still the money. I can afford to purchase the tools and some very basic supplies but that will only get us started. Do you crafty chicas have any suggestions on where to get supplies on the cheap? I have a few ideas but I'm hoping for some more inspiration...
