Sep. 20th, 2008 01:00 pmSome simple necklaces that I've made by recycling old single earrings - something that I've gotten into recently and might have picked up from this comm! It's just so easy and economical and, well...cute!

The bird used to be one of a set of two of my earrings, and the tear drop-shaped charm is from an earring that I found at a theatre!

The picture of the geisha was the original part of this necklace, though it came on a different cord. The locket used to be my mom's, and the wing is, again, one of an old pair of earrings. (I broke the other one! :( )
But the thing I have a hard time with is finding chains. Where do you beaders/jewelry makers out there find your chains, esp if you're in the Twin Cities area?
Thanks!
