Brand new purse all hand-sewn!

My friend had some great fabric leftover from a project she was doing, and she gave it to me to make something out of.




So, I decided to make myself a new purse, but being without a sewing machine I had to do it all by hand.





A BRAND NEW PURSE! :D

Alright now Simone this is just getting gratuitous.




Anyway, back to the purse...

A button and ribbon loop closure.



Lining made from the fabric of an old t-shirt.



And even an inside pocket!



Front pleat (my first attempt EVER at pleats).



Back pleat!



My only regret is that I didn't have any interfacing, and so it's kind of floppy.
I did put a piece of cardboard in the bottom though between the fun fabric and the lining to keep it from sagging.

I'm pretty pleased for my first "real" attempt at hand sewing. :)
