craftgrrlWe're going to the Maryland Renaissance Festival tomorrow. This is our first year going with a baby in tow, and baby garb is hard to find.
So I made this. It's not totally historically accurate or anything (stretch velvet and all) but the style is basically medieval. I think I did okay for using a homemade pattern and only having four hours in which to do it. Oh, and Molly was asleep while I sewed so I couldn't try it on her.
But it fits! I can't wait for tomorrow.
