Hello sweeties!
One of my very favorite things, besides sewing/crafting is going to thrift stores.
Mostly so I can source interesting fabrics and materials.
It's recycling and it's fun!
Recently, I scored a bunch of leather and suede skirts.
I'm not a leather skirt kind of girl, but I knew I wanted to hack into them and make something cool.
WRISTLETS GALORE!

They were really fun to make and leather is surprising easy to work with.
All appliques are hand-sewn!
Now, for some free stuff. On a recent cleaning whirlwind, I put together two packages of stuff that I'm not using anymore.
Tuesday night, 6:18 eastern time (US) ETA: WOW!
What an amazing response!
I printed out everyone's username/info, so I will call this give-away closed.
Except for the most exciting part...the winners!
Look out for another entry from me. Should happen tonight or tomorrow.
Good luck!!
I like to share.
: )
First one, fabric:

And I have misc. beads and jewelry making items:

There is a bunch of fabric there, enough of each print to make pouches, wristlets, and even bags/totes.
The bead box includes some wire, pewter beads, wood beads, seeds, and others.
If you're interested in either box of goodies, please leave a comment with your email address (encrypted as you will), and I will gather all interested parties and pick a username out of a hat.
I will ship them to you at no-charge.
I just want to pare down my craft closet and get rid of the stuff that is still good but I'm not using.
It would be super-great if the supplies went to someone that could really use them!
And then post projects here, of course!
;)
Cheers and have a lovely day!
