I am new to crocheting, finishing a total of 6 scarves, the first two being pretty crappy. I have the hang of it now and have graduated to some of the more eccentric yarns.

I have a problem though.

I started a scarf from my mother-in-law's stash and I've finished of the yarn and the scarf isn't long enough. I looked locally, but alas it is nowhere to be found (released in 2004). I found it online, but was wondering if you ladies had any creative ideas so I can maybe create somethign else with what I've done so far.
