A HUGE Thank You and Some Knitting
Oct. 8th, 2008 06:04 pmFirst of all, a gigantic THANK YOU to
sassi214! She did a giveaway a week ago and I was lucky enough to win the box of fabric. Not ONLY did she put together this fantastic box of fabric and give it away...but made it look like a lovely present, complete with a card! Thank you so much Donna, you made my day!

See how spoiled I am?? I can't wait to start making little bags and stuff out of it!
And now for something not really all that different...

Fetching, from Knitty. Technically a birthday present, given away last month. This was my first time working with Cascade Superwash and I love the way these turned out!

Scarf made from individual fish from the Tessellating Fish Blanket pattern, in Cascade 220. I knit every other fish upside down so that there was no seaming at the end. Still lots of ends to weave in, though.

Mango Moon Shrug, knit from Berkshire Bulky. Not a very good picture--it doesn't fit me (the intended recipient is much smaller than me) and looks kind of funny when it's not on a person.

Finally, a pretty plain scarf. Knit in a K3 P3 rib from Di've Zenith. This stuff might be my new favorite yarn, it's so squishy and soft and scrumptious! I haven't decided yet if this is going to be a Christmas present or not...
