I've been working on a few crafts this weekend. This first project is a birthday gift for my friend, Kristal. She recently became engaged to a man with two boys and Kristal is in seventh heaven over being a mom (she's not able to have kids of her own), so I painted these frames with her boys' favorite colors, then etched their names into the glass, in hopes that she'll use them for school portraits each year. I'm also working on a purple and gold frame (the colors she's painted the inside of her house) with the word "Love" etched into the glass, for a picture of her and her fiance.





This next project came about because my cell phone cover started chipping and looking really badly. So since I had the acrylic paint out for the frames, I decided to paint my phone and add some embellisments, then painted gloss over it. I'm hoping it won't start chipping immediately like my purchased covers have in the past!
