so its been a very long time since ive been very crafty or anything of the sorts since i have very little down time.

any way.... my friend john begged me to make him a sponge bob costume for halloween.

any ideas on how to get this accomplished and not look like doody?

I was thinking covering a box in eggcarton foam then covering it in yellow felt. and making attachable (by velcro) shorts to so he can sit down. but im getting a bit of a crafters block.





should i do the whole thing as a box or just cardboard at the top to shape it and keep it stiff on his shoulders. and around the waste to attach the shorts and keep the shape at the bottom. so he can move around and hes squishy like a sponge. or do you guys think it wont keep shape. hmmm.

any ideas would be appreciated thanks =)
