[identity profile] crazyfurries.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
I've been looking around for clock parts (mostly gears) and recently aquired the pieces of a broken grandfather clock which has lovely, lovely brass gears in it (just what I wanted). The problem is, the gears are still attached to the shafts and getting them off is proving to be a big fat pain.

So far I've tried prying the gears off with pliers, with no real results.

Any suggestions?
