Tapes n' Tapes

craftgrrlLately I've been working on turning cassette tapes into zippered wallets using this tutorial - http://www.chezlin.com/2008/04/cassette-tape-tutorial/ (I will post pics of the results soon.)
However, while taking apart the cassettes, I couldn't bring myself to throw away the actual tape inside. I've saved it and been thinking of what I can do with it, but I haven't come up with much. I know how to crochet, but I wouldn't think that a tape hat or tape wristwarmers would be very effective. Does anyone know of something useful I could crochet using the tape?
