[identity profile] kain-lumpia.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
I'm pretty new to knitting but for some reason I thought I could make a hat without a pattern. It's knit flat with a basic yo, k2tog pattern. The way I did my decreases (yo, k4tog) turned out pretty disastrous. It resulted in very large holes. When I sewed it up I saw that it just looked like a HUGE hole in the top. Any recommendations on what I can do to fix it? Is there some sort of way I can fill it? Crocheting or something? It is waaaay too big for a pompom. I had to rip it out and start over 3 times and I really don't want to again. It looks cute when it's on as long as no one looks at the top of my head :(
