so for months and months now i've been meaning to re-arrange my room and put new things on the walls, and i finally finished it all! i used to have heaps of posters and things up, but i finally took them all down and started fresh. sorry about the 'before' pictures, i had to take those with my phone so the quality isn't great, but you get the idea.

the little things hanging from the string include: vintage postcards (and a couple of newer ones too), various old stamps, air mail stamps, tiny glass bottles that i've filled with pearls and other things hung up with ribbon, tags i decorated with stamps (both the postage kind and the ink kind), one of my favourite jack kerouac quotes typed up on my typewriter, little wooden doves and a few little cards with pictures of planes (i have a thing for planes) that i found at a thrift shop a while ago, and a bunch of other things. i found the world map at a book fair a while ago, and the photos above it i found on deviant art and divided into four parts and got them developed to stick up.


i got the idea for the parasol in a post that was made here a while ago and i thought it was really cute.


i love nautical themed stuff and i bought the mirror and the anchor together and then found the little boat shelf at a thrift store for $10 a while later.

i know this isn't hugely crafty apart from hanging all the stuff on the string across my wall, but i figured people might be interested in seeing the rest of my room once i posted that so i included the rest of the pictures. hope you guys like it. :]
