Sweater Goodness

Its been a while since I've bragged about yarn based goodness in anywhere beyond my journal:
Last night I finished the canopy sweater from the Interweave KnitScene.

• It was knit flat, from left edge to right, kitchner stitching 2 panels at the right under-arm seam
  
• I knit huge, so I had to go down a needle size
  
• I also swapped out yarn - using the uber cheap bernat worsted that came in skeins roughly the size of a toddler
  
• It took almost 2 months to knit because I am lazy
  
• the pattern didn't call for buttons - but I like buttons
  
• I also made the sleeves way longer and took out the leaf detail at the sleeves because I thought it made them look a tad dorky.
