Hi Ladies! I'm new to the community and thought I'd share my two most recent projects.
This tote I think is the perfect accessory for an afternoon or morning at a Farmer's Market. It is apple green damask printed cotton with french pink satin ribbon trim. This was my first sewing project in a long time. My best friend was out visiting and taught me how to do french seams on it for a more finished look and better construction. I'm thinking of adding a button closure but haven't found a button I like yet!

This apron was inspired by all the cute vintage aprons I've seen. I used a cherry print for the skirt and the waistband and pockets are in a pinstripe fabric. I embellished the pockets with some Rick-rack. I just bought more fabric yesterday to make a few more. This time I'll use a pattern, I constructed this one free hand.
