Crafty Holiday

I usually do a handful of crafty projects for the holidays, and I was inspired by a project in a crafts magazine, so I did a smaller version with a holiday theme - 

 

 Here's my inspiration - taken from Crafts Magazine, Spring 2008     
My version uses a smaller 7-inch box and mini-votives instead of the large cigar box and regular size votives.  I am still debating the sanding of the edges, I like the distressed thing, but I might use silver wood-wax instead of sanding it - to make the snowflake on the front pop out a bit more.
