Christmas ball ornament wreath
Nov. 30th, 2008 04:15 pmI really wanted one of those fancy Christmas ball wreaths, but they were either too expensive or nonexistant. So I decided to make my own.
Before:

All supplies from Wal-Mart:
24-pack of copper, green and blue shatterproof ornaments, $5 each
Silver tinsel wreath, $6
Floral wire, $0.88
.After!

My wreath ended up costing me just under $24. Originally I was going to use all the ornaments, but it was getting really frustrating and I was tearing up my hands because I couldn't see the floral wire and it was everywhere. I'm happy with it though. I decided I could always go back and add more if I change my mind.
And here are my little trees!!! The reason I'm posting this is because I CANNOT find mini tree skirts anywhere. I thought about just getting some fabric remnants in bright colors, but there are no fabric stores in my town, and Wal-Mart quit carrying fabric. Does anyone know where I can either find mini tree skirts or have any ideas of what I could use? Maybe even aluminum foil?

Yay for Christmas decorations! Thanks for looking!
