I made a post here yesterday about 'birdnesting' on my sewing machine. Due to my lack of knowledge, manual and general common sense about my machine I had no idea what to do.
I took every comment that was made and did everything you guys said to do. I took apart the bobbin area, cleaned it very well, oiled it, replaced the needle, changed the tension and how the stitches were being done and was able to make at least one interior bag without a problem. I was amazed at how dull my original needle was!
Then again I have owned the thing for about 10 years and never changed the needle lol. Again, never owned a machine before, didn't know.
Anyways, thanks for the suggestions... so far it looks like that all has been fixed. I stocked up on needles, have a great big container of oil and will run out to buy a dust cover (this explains the lint and nasty stuff all over the machine lol) to keep it clean.
So helpful ;)
