I'm so glad i randomly came across some crafty communities (this one included!) because i've felt far craftier and inspired enough to get busy myself for the first time in ages.
I made a bunch of dangle keyrings with polymer clay goodies and beads, i'm quite proud of these, though i know i've seen far better examples!
I made four of these in different colours/combos etc for Christmas pressies. Had gone a bit mad on making the goodies, so i had some Christmas puds, strawberries 'dipped' in chocolate, liquorice alsorts left over - have made those into hanging tree decorations by just adding a thin silver thread to hang them by. Probably would be best for mini trees, but the people i'm gifting them to can figure that out for themselves xD
I bought a flip chart pad of A1 white paper to paint on. Used a Sharpie pen to outline the shapes, dotted silver glitter glue on the decorations, and on later sheets, randomly dotted the glitter glue around to fill up the white space. The camera has picked up the colours a little weirdly, but you get the idea. It's a bit tough to fold around parcels - works best on square things. You probably could personalise normal plain coloured wrapping paper the same way.
Not overly spectacular, but kept me busy enough to feel proud to post. ^_^
