i'm in serious need of some help. i made some christmas tree ornaments for a friend of mine, and i went to pack them up and ship them (because she finally got her tree up) and one of them broke. it didn't even make it into the box, it just broke in my hand. the egg probably had a crack on it or something, but it still worries me.
obviously they're pretty delicate, since they start with a blown out egg, and i've made them for my mother before, but i never had to ship them. i'm going to re-make the ornaments tomorrow and then send them off. my question is, is there anything i can do to strengthen the egg without making it too heavy? maybe something i can "paint" over it before i start to decorate it?
any help you guys would offer would be sooooo greatly appreciated. so far this community has been amazing with all the suggestions about getting my last minute stuff finished.
