I don't know anything about embroidery or anything like that, but I made an amateur attempt at decorating this throw with leaves and a bird to compliment the new couch and I had a lot of fun with it:












My cat was getting really annoyed with the fact that she couldn't lie on or poke the blanket while I was working on it. It became a game that whenever she saw it, she'd dart at it really quickly in a pouncing motion.
