Attaching purse frames!

craftgrrlSo, how are common purse frames meant to be attached to the purse? Like this one --> http://www.u-handbag.com/images/Curved%20silver.jpg (not the sew-on -frames with holes) I've once tried to glue the fabric to the frame, but that obviously didn't work out and I really don't think that they're meant to be glued.
