This is my first entry-and also, my first attempt at making anything more than a scarf. I have been wanting to learn how to use a sewing machine for a while now, so on a trip to Oklahoma to visit family, I had my aunt teach me. I bought a sewing machine (brother), and it's really neat, and easier to use than I thought. So with the guidance of my aunt Karen, I made my first baby blanket/quilt, that is going to be a gift to a friend's little one on the way...













I really didn't think making a quilt would be as much work as it was! I think the end result was more than worth it. It's definitely one of a kind.
