Hi! I don't post here often because I am lazy.

However, using this  tutorial ---> community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/11359647.html I made my best friend a weighted companion cube for his birhtday!

I found this to be very easy to make - just VERY time consuming. I machine sewed the corner peices together before sewing them onto the cube. I also machine appliqued the heart and circle peices to the squares of fabric instead of hand-sewing them on. 
 
Josh enjoyed his gift very much - he said if it had a little label on it he would swear it was storebought. :)

A little part of me wanted to keep it for myself to cuddle and maybe use as a pillow. 



We were all like, "OMG! let's put it in the oven!" 

And we did.
