well, i just finished sewing a cute pair of PJ shorts which went pretty well. it was my first clothing project so i'm quite proud of myself. :) plus it was super cheap!

fabric: a flannel milk & cookies print - $0.99 (found in a remnant bin)
elastic - $0.50
drawstring - $0.86
pattern: McCall's #3856 - $2.49 (on sale)
TOTAL: $4.84

yay! :D i'm going to post pictures as soon as i get acccess to a scanner...

ANYWAY, the real reason i'm posting is because i had a tiny bit of fabric left over from the shorts. about a 5' x 41' long rectangle. i was curious if anybody had some ideas for something i could use this remaining scrap for?? i'm really aching to sew some more but am broke at the moment and unable to buy any more fabric. :( the fabric i used looks similar to this one but a LOT nicer:

any ideas?
