Hand and Foot
Feb. 4th, 2009 09:42 amHi!
I made this wall hanging for my brother and his girlfriend. These are imprints of my nephew's hand and foot from when he was but a month old. I made this for them for Christmas but I also wish I had made one for myself.

I seriously urge you to try this sometime - it was very easy. I just mixed up some playdough and put it in a tupperware. I then greased up Lucas' foot and hand and smooshed them into the dough. I them put some plaster paris in there and let it dry! The plaster dries faster than the playdough and you just pull it away. I then put some varnish on there but it was the wrong kind and it bubbled and flecked - so don't do that.

Quarter for size reference.
