In short, I've discovered Mod Podge and all the slightly-goopy fun you can have with it.

Before, a pair of $13.00 heels:

1.1. Before Mod Podge and Comics

It started with two extra Black Canary comics I had lying about:

1.2. The Comics for the Shoes and Mod Podge

The comics turned into this:

1.3. The Cut-Outs that Actually Went On the Shoes

And those bits and pieces got pasted on with Mod Podge and covered in sealant, and now I have these:

1.5. The Toes of the Shoes Covered in Comics

1.6. Left Shoe, Close-Up

I freakin' love the impact marks under her boots.

1.7. Left Shoe, Side #1

1.8. Left Shoe, From the Back

The logo bent a bit, but the heel itself looks fab, yes? Oh, yes.

1.9. Left Shoe, Side #2

1.10. Right Shoe, Close-Up

I kind of want to do a pair of shoes in nothing but speech bubbles. Or maybe Little Yellow Boxes*.

1.11. Right Shoe, Side #1

1.12. Right Shoe, From the Back

This was the first piece I did because it was the first piece I cut out with a purpose. It crinkled a bit because I put the Mod Podge [I Mod Podged?] on the back of the image instead of on the shoe, but I'm still really proud with how it turned out.

1.13. Right Shoe, Side #2

*That's Deadpool. He is completely batshit and completely awesome. And he thinks Common Sense is a superpower.

Ta-da!

And I even managed to get homework done in the last few days as well!
